The Story
Gramona has been making wine in the Penedès since 1816 one of the few remaining family-owned estates in the region and La Cuvée is an introduction to the house style.
This is a blend roughly 2/3 Xarel·lo, 1/3 Macabeu and a splash of Parellada, sourced from 13 certified biodynamic growers that are part of the Aliances de la Terra setup by Gramona.
It spends a minimum of 30 months on lees before disgorgement with minimal dosage.
It’s bright citrus notes and a beautiful seashell minerality, with elegant floral aromas, stone fruit, peach and apricot, and a crisp lemon peel finish.
